4D-CICoding Instructions4D-CI Wireless keypadFITTING AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS1. FITTINGFasten bottom part in place using 2 screws.2. CHANGING THE BATTERY- Remove bung and loosen screw.- Detach keypad 2a.- Pull off battery clip and attach a new 9V block battery 2b.- Replace keypad, screw in screws and insert bungs.3. ESTABLISHING THE PASS CODEEstablish a pass code between 2 - 6 digits 3a and note it down (e. g. Mr Smith 3228), key in 3b and thenkeep the key button pressed for 3 seconds until the green LED goes out 3c. You can input up to 3 differentpass codes.4. SETTING UP THE RECEIVER UNIT AND ALLOCATING A CHANNEL- Press button on receiver unit once, digit 1 is displayed 4a.- As soon as the display flashes, key in the pass code (see fig. 5). As soon as the code has been read in, thered point display flashes five times 4b.- To confirm the input, press the button on the receiver unit until digit 0 is displayed. Example: now MrSmith can open garage door 1 using the pass code 3228.5. PASS CODE FOR OPENING OR CLOSING THE DOORKey in the pass code (e. g. Mr Smith 3228) and press the key button. When the radio code is transmitted,the red LED glows. Within the next 20 seconds you have the option of transmitting a further radio code viaany chosen button.6. DELETING ALL KEYED-IN PASS CODESKey in the 6-digit reset code via the key button and keep the button pressed for 3 seconds until the greenLED goes out. For the reset code please refer to fig. 6.BELL BUTTONOn pressing the bell button the corresponding radio channel is directly transmitted. This button can be usedto control additional devices, e. g. light switch or bell. To do so, set up receiver as shown in fig. 4a / 4b andallocate the channel.
