ACECO FC5002 Quick Start Manual
IntroductionThe Aceco FC5002 is the latest advance in nearfield FM tester with Received Signal Strength Indication.Capable of locking automatically and almost instantly onto any FM signal within VHF to UHF range. Oncelocked it will demodulate the FM signal and permit it to be monitored through build-in speaker or earphone. ItsRSSI feature is useful in locating stuck transmitters or listening devices. There is also a feature for holding alocked channel. It can incorporate an ICOM CI-V interface for tuning with the FC3000 series. The greatsensitivity to nearfild signals makes it ideal for RF security, counter-surveillance and radio communicationtesting applications. It comes complete with internal NiCd pack, AC wall charger, VHF/UHF flexible antenna andaudio earphone.SpecificationsFrequency range: 30 MHz - 900 MHz (Cellular Blocked)Modulation: FMDeviation: < 100 KHzSensitivity: < -53 dBm at 500 MHzWeight: 280 gSize: 100 mm high x 68 mm wide x 31 mm deepImpedance: 50 Ohms (BNC Socket)Case: Stamped aluminum with black anodized finishBattery: Internal 5 x AA 600 mAH NiCd packPower: 9 VDC 300 mAFeaturesl Pocket sizel Built-in speakerl Equipping with a 2.5 mm earphone and a 3.5 mm CI-V mini jackl 5 section RSSI bargraph to show relative RF signal strengthl Incorporating an ICOM CI-V interface for tuning with the FC3000 seriesl Enabling to hold on an active channell Low battery indicatorl Lock indicator to display signal receptionl Low power consumption (Average 5 hour battery life)l Supplied with NiCd pack, AC wall charger, flexible antenna and earphoneControlsVOL Knob - This knob turns the tester on and adjusts sound volume.SQL Knob - This tunes the squelch up or down to set the signal strength for reception.SKIP Button - This frees the tester from any unwanted signals.AUTO HOLD Switch - This automatically stops and holds on an active frequency.BatteryThis tester can operate for up to five hours from its fully charged NiCd batteries.
