All rights reserved ACN Pacific Pty Ltd ABN 85 108 535 708 Customer Service 1300 881 778 www.acnpacific.comMKTG-59 10.05.2017Welcome to your new ACN VoIP ServiceYour new ACN VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Service simply means that your new phone service is provided via a specialadaptor (called an Analogue Telephone Adaptor or ATA) which uses your broadband Internet service to make and receivephone calls.This User Guide details the steps required to set up and start using your new ACN VoIP service by installing the ACN VoIPequipment we have sent you.Items You Need:• A working broadband (Internet) service• Access to one spare LAN port on yourbroadband modem/router• Access to a power point near yourmodem/router, to power the ATA• An analogue, or DECT (Digital Cordless)home phone to connect to the ATAYour ACN VoIP Pack contains the following items:Power pack & cableAnalogue TelephoneAdaptor (ATA)Ethernet cableYour modem/router, should havea cable already plugged into theInternet/WAN Port (this is the cablethat supplies your Internet). You mayalso have a cable plugged into the firstEthernet/LAN Port (if you have yourPC or laptop plugged into the devicedirectly - not on Wi-Fi)Important Note:Before attempting the setup of your new ACN VoIP Service you must ensure that you have a working broadband(Internet) service and that ACN has completed the configuration of your new VoIP Service. ACN will confirm yournew ACN VoIP Service is ready by sending you an “ACN VoIP Phone Service is now active” message to the emailaddress you provided with your order.Attempting the setup of your ACN VoIP service prior to receiving this email will fail. This is because the process ofallocating you a new telephone number, or porting an existing number (where requested) will not be complete.Typical Modem/Router |
