Full user details and setup instructions can be found at www.adder.com/en/kvm-solutions/adderlink-infinity-2102 Please read the supplied safety instruction leaflet before use.Initial configurationALIF units can be linked in two mains ways: Direct or Networked.Direct linkingWhere ALIF transmitters and receivers are directly linked to each other, very little configuration actionis required, provided that they both have their factory default settings in place - just link them together.If the standard settings have been changed in a previous installation, you merely need to perform amanual factory reset on each unit. This can be done using via OSD on theconsole connected to the RX unit by pressing CTRL + ALT + C. Please see the rear page.• Configuring networked ALIF units collectively - The ADDERLink™ INFINITY Management(AIM) server allows you to configure, control and coordinate any number of ALIF transmitters andreceivers from a single application. See adder.com for details.IMPORTANT:When using AIM to configure ALIF units, it isvital that all units that you wish to locate and control areset to their factory default settings. Otherwise they willnot be located by the AIM server. If necessary, perform amanual factory reset on each ALIF unit. See center pages.Note: If you are using one or more ALIF transmitters withinan installation managed by an AIM server, the AIM servermust be running firmware version 5.3 or above.ALIF configuration via web pagesEach ALIF unit hosts its own internal set of web pages which contain all configuration details andsettings.You will need to use a computer connected to the same network as each ALIF unit toaccess the web pages.
