It hasbeen revised to include mounting clearances, HTU-Cinformation, and optional equipment.FeaturesThe ADTRAN HR4 Remote Shelf, part number1242008L1, features include the following:• Connectorized network interface• Removable RJ-48C and RJ-48X jacks forcustomer interface• 4-unit capacity• Wall-mounted• Lockable cover to restrict access to units• Barrier strip for power connectionsDescriptionThe ADTRAN HR4 shelf is designed for use inapplications where it is beneficial to replace a series ofT1 repeaters with HDSL transceiver technology. Theshelf is designed to accept up to four ADTRANHTU-R units. HTU-R plug-ins can be loaded intoslots 1 through 4. Network connections are madeusing a 50-pin amphenol connector. Customerconnections are made through RJ-48 connectors.The ADTRAN HR4 measures 7.60 inches wide (6.25inches minus the mounting ears), 8.25 inches front-to-back, and 11.6 inches high. The unit weighs 3pounds, 14 ounces. No clearance is required on thetop or the sides.
