1Quick Reference For Eye-Pal SoloSOLO LV allows you to read printed text and magnify small objects. There arethree ways Solo LV can be used to read printed material.Front Panel Buttons – conveniently placedMotion Activated – the no button solutionKeypad – controls at your finger tipsFront Panel:Power - the green square button all the way to the right is used to turn thedevice on as well as off.Pause/Resume reading - the white circle button on the left side of the knob onthe front panel allows you to pause and resume reading. If this circle button isheld down for 3 seconds it will enable/disable the use of hand motions.Read Previous Sentence - the red square button all the way to the left is usedto read the previous sentence. Again this button may be pressed as many times asyou need to go back to a certain sentence. If this red button is held down for 5seconds it will restart the software.Reading Speed - to the right of the knob are two white square buttons. Thesesquare buttons are lined up vertically one on top of the other. The top button willincrease the reading speed, while the bottom button will decrease the readingspeed.Volume - may be changed by turning the knob in the middle of the front panel ofthe device.Restarting - if device freezes press the red button for 5 seconds. You will hearthe device say “restarting”.Motion Activated Controls: (By default this is disabled)To enable motion activated controls press the white circle on the front panel andhold down for 3 seconds.Pause/ Stop Reading - move your hand slowly above the printed material fromleft to right.Resume Reading - move your hand slowly above the printed material from left toright
