Heavy duty relaycontacts allow the module to directly control high capacityloads.The API 1400 G provides a single setpoint adjustment andDPDT relay contacts. The normal acting alarm output canbe factory configured for HI or LO operation. Top-accessiblepotentiometers are used to adjust the alarm setpoint anddeadband.The API 1420 G contains two independent setpoints withtwo SPDT relay contact outputs. The normal acting alarmoutput can be factory configured for HI/HI, HI/LO, LO/HI orLO/LO operation. Top-accessible potentiometers are used toadjust each alarm setpoint. Deadband is fixed at 1% of span.Adjustable deadbands are optional.LoopTracker and Alarm Status LEDsAPI exclusive features include a LoopTracker LED that varies inintensity with changes in the RTD input signal.A red/green bi-color alarm status LED (two on the API 1420G) visually indicate alarm status. These LEDs provide a quickvisual picture of your process at all times.Output TestAPI’s exclusive functional test button can be used to verify thealarm and system operation. Press the Test button to togglethe alarm relay(s) to the opposite state.
