The dampers alsoinclude electrical thermal sensor and asecondary mechanical fusible link thatprevent the damper from opening if thetemperature has reached 72 0C.With the introduction of ConstructionProduct Regulation on the 1st July2013 all fire dampers are required tomeet the product standard BS EN15650. To achieve this standard thedamper has to be tested to BS EN1366-2 dynamic fire test. The dampersare then classified to BS EN 13501-3that clearly states the integrity of thedamper also in the way that damperwas installed in the furnace. Thestandard also now included testing offusible link to ISO 10294-4 thatcomprises of a dynamic release andholding tests. The maximum single section unittested was 1000mm x 1000mm for boththe HEVAC and AFS frame. Thedamper has been tested both waysround in both wall and floorinstallation's so there is no issue in co-ordination caused by working out whichside the fire will be on.The damper is supplied complete withactuator pre-wired into a junction boxcomplete with test button reducing timeand work on site. The dampers can besupplied with long spigots for installingaccess doors (optional) or short toreduce on space.Installation Damper/Model ClassificationBlockwork Wall 2550- MotorisedFire Dampers E120 (ve i<—>o) sDrywall 2550- MotorisedFire Dampers E120 (ve i<—>o) sFloor 2550-MotorisedFire Damper E120 (ho i<—>o) s(PATENT PENDING)
