Failure to do so could result in serious electrical shock, burns, or possible death.1. Read all instructions before installing or using this heater.2. Read all information labels. Verify that the electrical supplywires are the same voltage as the heater.3. All electrical work and materials must comply with theNational Electric Code (NEC), the Occupational Safety andHealth Act (OSHA), and all state and local codes.4. Connect the grounding screw provided in the wall canto the supply ground wire.5. If you need to install a new circuit or need additional wiringinformation, consult a qualified electrician.6. Protect electrical supply from kinks, sharp objects, oil,grease, hot surfaces or chemicals.7. WARNINGOverheating or fire may occur. DO NOT install the heaterin a floor, in the ceiling, below a towel bar, behind a door, oranywhere the air discharge may be blocked in any manner.8. WARNINGFire or explosion may occur. DO NOT install heater in anyarea where combustible vapors, gases, gasoline, liquids, orexcessive lint or dust are present. A heater has hot and arcingor sparking parts inside.9. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns,do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use extreme cautionwhen any heater is used by or near children or invalids, andwhenever the heater is left operating and unattended.11. WARNINGRisk of Electrical Shock. DO NOT install the heater directlyabove bathtub or sink. DO NOT install in shower stall area(Manufacturer recommends a minimum 2 foot clearance).12. WARNINGRisk of Electrical Shock. Connect grounding lead to groundingscrew provided. Keep all foreign objects out of heater.13. WARNINGRisk of Electrical Shock. Never place a switch where it canbe reached from the tub or shower enclosure.14. WARNINGRisk of Fire. Do not block heater. Heater must be kept clear ofall obstructions: Keep combustible materials, such as furniture,pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, etc. and curtains at least 3 feetfrom the front of the heater and 6 inches above and on both sides.15. WARNINGRisk of Electrical Shock. Do not operate any heater after itmalfunctions. Disconnect power at service panel and haveheater inspected by a reputable electrician before reusing.16. WARNINGUse this heater only as described in this manual. Any other usenot recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electricshock, or injury to persons. |
