Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enterany ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electricshock or fire, or damage the heater. Unplug heater beforeperforming any maintenance or when not in use. To disconnectheater, turn control to lowest position, then remove plug from outlet.10. WARNING Risk of electrical shock or injury. Do not runcord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs,runners, or the like. Do not route cord under furniture orappliance. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it will notcause a tripping hazard. Do not operate heater with a damagedcord or plug, or after heater malfunctions, or has been droppedor damaged in manner. Discard heater, or return to authorizedservice facility for examination and/or repair.11. WARNING Risk of Fire. To prevent a possible fire, do not blockair intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces,like a bed, where openings may become blocked. Heater must bekept clear of all obstructions: maintain a 3 foot minimum clearancefrom front and 12 inches from sides and rear. Heaters must be keptclean of lint, dirt and debris. (See Maintenance Instructions)12. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.Never use with an extension cord or relocatable powertap (outlet/power strip).13. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other usenot recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire,electrical shock, or injury to persons.14. WARNING Risk of Fire. Do not use as a residential orhousehold heater.15. When heater is wall or ceiling mounted, the anchoringprovisions must be strong enough to support the total weight ofthe heater and heater mounts. Failure to properly secure thesupports to the building structure could allow the heater to fall.1. Read all instructions before using this heater.2. Do not place heater against paperboard or low-densityfiberboard surfaces.3. Do not use outdoors.4. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areasand similar indoor or very humid locations. Never locate heaterwhere it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.5. Do not place heater below an electrical convenience receptacle.6. WARNING Overheating or fire may occur. Do not place theheater behind doors.7. WARNING Fire or explosion may occur. Heater has hotand arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas wheregasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.8. WARNING Burn Hazard. This heater is hot when in use. Toavoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided,use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustiblematerials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, andcurtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and 12inches from sides and rear.
