C) February 2014SYSTEM CONNECTIONSApply power to the CHR-PM80 by connecting a power supply unit to the connectoron the rear panel of the battery charger. CHR-PM80 is ready to chargePowerScan™ M8300 laser readers.SERIAL CONFIGURATION OPTIONSIn addition to the battery charge function, CHR-PM80 can be connected to a PC bymeans of an RS-232/USB interface to send new configuration strings from the PC tothe scanner, to upgrade application software onto the PowerScan™ M8300 readeror optionally when performing the copy configuration procedure.To proceed with these operations, connect an RS-232 or USB cable betweenCHR-PM80 and the PC. Connect the power supply to CHR-PM80.
