600 A 15 and 25 kV class PUSH-OP™insulated standoff bushingGeneralEaton meets the full requirements of IEEEStd 386™-2006 standard, Separable InsulatedConnector Systems with its Cooper Power™series 600 A, 15 and 25 kV insulated PUSH-OP™standoff bushing. The bushing provides a single deadbreak interfacemade of high quality insulating epoxy material. It is used in switchgear, transformers, andother apparatus to isolate and section al ize anenergized cable. Temporary or permanent parkingof energized 600 A 15 and 25 kV PUSH-OPdeadbreak connectors is simplified with the use ofan insulated standoff bushing. The PUSH-OP insulated standoff bushing isde signed to be installed in the parking standmounted on a switchgear, transformer, or otherapparatus. A drain wire lug is provid ed on thestandoff bracket for attach ment of a drain wirelead to ensure deadfront construction. The bushingprovides a fully-shielded, submersible connectionfor deadbreak operation. All standoff bushing brackets have a stainlesssteel eyebolt with a brass pressure foot. Thebushing body is bolted to a stainless steel basebracket using a stainless steel bolt. The bracketand latch mechanism provides easy installationof a PUSH-OP connector without any threadingoperations.InstallationA clampstick tool is used to place the standoffbushing in the parking stand on the front plate ofthe apparatus. The PUSH-OP connector is theninstalled onto the standoff bushing tap.
