Install mount:a. To install junction box (as ceiling mount or with wall mount): mark thedesired mounting location and drill holes for 1/4” or 6.5mm mountinghardware (not supplied). Secure the junction box in place.b. To install wall mount bracket with junction box: place gasket suppliedagainst the flange of the wall mount. Align holes in the wall mountwith the tapped holes in the junction box, and insert the screwssupplied with the wall mount into the holes. Tighten screws to 30lb.-in. (3.4 N-m).Lubricate cable gland or conduit thread with Eaton’s Crouse-Hindsseries HTL lubricant, and install conduit or cable gland to the hub. Pullwires into the mounting module. Lubricate pipe plugs and close allunused conduit entries. Tighten pipe plugs to 35 lb.-ft. (47.5 N-m).c. To install stanchion and pendant mount: lubricate hub thread withEaton’s Crouse-Hinds series HTL lubricant. Thread the mount onto theconduit until tight. Tighten set screw in hub using a 5/64” (2.0mm)hex allen wrench (see Figure 2). Torque to 16 lb.-in. (1.81 N-m).Pull wires into the stanchion mount or pendant cover.2. Install adapter cover (for ceiling, stanchion and wall mounting)a. Pull wires through the center opening in the VLHR adapter cover. Slipthe keyhole slots in the VLHR adapter cover over the two (2) screws inthe mounting module (see Figure 1). Rotate the VLHR cover and snugeach screw. Torque each screw to 20 lb.-in. (2.3 N-m).NOTE: The adapter cover is not intended to be removed followinginstallation.FIGURE 1KeyholeslotKeyholeslotVLHR adaptercover3. Attach the LED housing:a. Hang the assembly on the hinge of the cover (see Figure 2).b. Connect cover ground lead with fork terminal to ground screw on LEDhousing. Tighten ground screw (see Figure 3).c. Connect supply wires to the LED driver input leads per the appropriatewiring diagram, using methods that comply with all applicable codes.Tighten all electrical connections.d. Close LED housing onto cover, ensuring that wires are not caughtbetween the cover and the LED housing. Tighten three (3) screwsprovided using a 3/16” (4.7mm) hex allen wrench (see Figure 4).Torque to 30 lb.-in. (3.4 N-m).WARNINGTo avoid electric shock:Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation andmaintenance.Wire in accordance with the NEC, CEC and local codes. To avoid burning hands:Make sure lens and housing are cool when performing maintenance.!WARNINGMake sure the supply voltage is the same as the luminaire voltage.Use proper supply wiring as specified on the luminaire nameplate. All gasket seals must be clean and undamaged.!FIGURE 2 FIGURE 3 FIGURE 4LED housing internal ground screwFIGURE 5To install to Vaporgard mounts specified in Figure 6:NOTE: Vaporgard LED driver modules can be mounted to surface mounted VXFor VXFT ceiling junction boxes, to VXT wall mount bracket, or to VXA stanchion.1. Loosen the mounting screws on the mount or the VXH adapter.2. Clean all debris from the luminaire mounting surface using mild soapor a liquid cleaner such as Collinite NCF or Duco #7.3. Slip the keyhole slots of the VLHR adapter cover over the screws onthe mount. Twist the VLHR counterclockwise to lock it in place.4. Snug the two (2) screws, and then, in the same order, torque eachscrew to 20 lb.-in. (2.3 N-m).NOTE: The adapter cover is not intended to be removed following installation.5. Attach the LED driver module housing.a. Hang the assembly on the hinge of the adapter module (seeFigure 3).b. Pull wiring into cover.c. Connect cover ground lead with fork terminal to ground screwon LED housing. Tighten ground screw (see Figure 4).d. Connect supply wires to the LED driver input leads per theappropriate wiring diagram, using methods that comply withall applicable codes. Tighten all electrical connections.e. Close LED housing onto adapter cover, ensuring that wiresare not caught between the cover and LED housing. Tightenthree (3) screws provided using a 3/16 inch (4.7 mm) hex allenwrench (see Figure 5).
