Num. 29-6199TO REMOVE COOKTOP• Turn the power off.• Slide the unit out.• Remove four (4) 1/4” hex head screws on the back of the unit securing therear trim.• Remove two (2) 1/4” hex head screws on the gap cover on the back of therange. (Single Oven Only)• Remove three (3) 1/4” hex head screws on the back of the unit securing thevent trim.• Rotate the vent trim forward and lift to disengage tabs to remove.• Remove four (4) 1/4” hex head screws on the back of the unit securing thecooktop.• Remove two (2) T-15 torx screws from the front sides of the range.•• Lift up cooktop and remove.Remove two (2) housing harness wire.CAUTION Raising the cooktop too high can break the glass.HOW TO REMOVE OR REPLACE THE DOORDISCONNECT POWER BEFORE SERVICINGIMPORTANT: Reconnect all grounding devices. All parts of this appli-ance capable of conducting electrical current are grounded. Disconnect the power.2. First remove the cooktop (see remove cooktop).3. Remove the two (2) screws behind the manifold panel that attach it tothe side panel bracket.4. Fully open the door.2. Pull the hinge locks down toward the doorframe, to the unlocked position. A tool, suchas a small flat-blade screwdriver, may berequired.3. Firmly grasp both sides of the door at thetop.4. Close door to the door removal position,which is halfway between the broil stopposition and fully closed.5. Lift door up and out until the hinge arm isclear of the slot.Removal positionTo replace the door:1. Firmly grasp both sides of the door at the top.2. With the door at the same angle as theremoval position, seat the indentation of thehinge arm into the bottom edge of the hingeslot. The notch in the hinge arm must befully seated into the bottom of the slot.3. Fully open the door. If the door will not fullyopen, the indentation is not seated correctlyin the bottom edge of the slot.4. Push the hinge locks up against the frontframe of the oven cavity to the lockedposition.5. If 0 volts, check jamb switch and wiring.• Light is to come on when control light pad is pressed. K906 should click. Checkvoltage from J903-1 to N. Should read 120VAC. If 0 volts, replace control.OVEN SENSOR AND DOOR SWITCH OHMMETER TESTRemove power from the oven. Make a resistance measurement from the sideof the sensor and lock switch connector with the exposed terminals unpluggedfrom the ERC.CIRCUIT TERMINALS OHMSOvenSensor4 to 5Unlatch 1 to 2 OpenLatch 1 to 2* If abnormal reading is observed, wiggleleads at connector at rear of cavity bet-ween broil elements pins. If any variation,replace sensor. |
