Safety3.1 Authorized useThis metal lathe is designed forturning and drilling machinablemetal and plastic materials only.Machining of other materials is notpermitted and may be carried out inspecific cases only after consultingwith the manufacturer.Never cut magnesium-high danger to fire!The workpiece must allow to safelybe loaded and clamped.The proper use also includescompliance with the operating andmaintenance instructions given inthis manual.The machine must be operated onlyby persons familiar with its operationand maintenance and who arefamiliar with its hazards.The required minimum age must beobserved.The machine must only be used in atechnically perfect condition.When working on the machine, allsafety mechanisms and covers mustbe mounted.In addition to the safetyrequirements contained in theseoperating instructions and yourcountry’s applicable regulations, youshould observe the generallyrecognized technical rulesconcerning the operation ofmetalworking machines.Any other use exceedsauthorization.In the event of unauthorized use ofthe machine, the manufacturerrenounces all liability and theresponsibility is transferredexclusively to the operator.
