KELD KLTX3 Specification And Operating Instructions
DescriptionThe KLT13I, KLT23I , KLT33I and KLT43I series are electronictemperature controllers for cold refrigeration units. These devices allow to control the Compressor, Defrost, Fan,Alarm and Light, and have up to 3 probes. The KLT43I seriesincludes the possibility of two compressors.NTC or PTC probes can be selected by parameter. They havealso a configurable digital input according to parameter E0These thermostats allow the Master/Slave configuration tosynchronize the defrost between different thermostats.Errors and alarms can be viewed on display.HACCP option can record temperature, time of temperaturealarms and power fails. The Slink multifunction input allows an easy programming of theparameters with a KLKEY, the connection of a Real Time Clockand Memory Module or the connection of a R485 ModuleInterface.Model referencesThe model reference is given by: KLTX3IB -DVYZEach suffix can take the following values:B Buzzer: B:Internal buzzer, Null:Without buzzerV Color: R:Red, G:Green, B:BlueY Supply Voltage: 230:230Vac, 115:115Vac24:24Vac/dc, 12:12Vac/dcZ Temp. Units: C:ºC, F:ºFInstallationWiringAvoid installing the cables of the probes and the digital input, inthe proximity of any power cable. If the length of the probe cablesmeasure is longer than 100 meters, a re-calibration adjustmentmust be made P1 , P2 P3MaintenanceThe thermostat must be located in a place protected fromvibrations, impacts, water and corrosive gases. It will be made a 71x29mm panel cut-out to insert thethermostat (apply silicone to make it leaktight ). Then the fixingclips must be fasten, sliding it onto the thermostat, until it is wellsecure.óCleaningClean the surface of the controller with a soft, damp cloth.Never use abrasive detergents, petrol, alcohol or solvents.RepairsAll the repairs must be carried out by authorised people.Technical DataStorage temperature -20ºC to 80ºC (-4 to 176ºF)Operating temperature 0ºC to 65ºC (32 to 149ºF)Temperature probe PTC / NTCProbe range PTC -50ºC to 150ºC (-58 to 302ºF)NTC -50ºC to 110ºC (-58 to 230ºF)Temperature accuracy Better than 1Temperature resolutionSupply voltages 115Vac+/-10%, 230Vac+/-10%12Vac/dc +/-10%, 24Vac/dc +/-10%Supply powers 3.6VA (230V) 1.5VA (12V)% of full scale0.1º PTC , 1º NTCDisplays 3-digit and signSLINK For KLKEY or Real Time Clock and Memory Moduleor Communication ModuleOutputsKLT43 ModelREL 1 SPDT Relé Carga Resistiva 16A1HP 240Vac -- 10FLA, 60LRA 240VacREL 4 SPDT Relé Carga Resistiva 16A1HP 240Vac -- 10FLA, 60LRA 240VacREL 2 SPST Relé Carga Resistiva 8A 240VacREL 3 SPDT Relé Carga Resistiva 8A 240VacKLT13,KLT23,KLT33 ModelsREL 1 SPST Relé Carga Resistiva 16A1HP 240Vac -- 10FLA, 60LRA 240VacREL 2 SPST relay resistive load 5A 240VacREL 3 SPST Relé Carga Resistiva 8A 240VacDimensions 77 x 36 x 62 mm (3.03 x 1.42 x 2.44 in)Front Protection IP64Parameter description - continuationDefrostingd0 = Cold / Heat mode (KLT13)re = Cold In = Heatd0 = Type of defrosting (KLT23, KLT33, KLT43)re = defrosting without connecting the compressor.in = defrosting by connecting the compressor.d1 = End of defrosting temperature. When this temperature is reached the defrosting will end.d2 = Maximum defrosting time. The defrosting will stop when this time is reached. If it is zero there will be no defrosting.d3 = first Hour defrosting of the dayFrom 00:00 hours the first defrosting is at d3 hours.Until this time no defrosting is performedd4 = Delay first defrosting.Time to carry out the first defrosting if d3 = yes.d5 = Display during the defrosting.Off = The current temperature will be shown during defrosting. On = The temperature at defrost beginning is frozen on displayuntil the end of defrosting and until the current temperature isequal or lower than the initial one, or until d6 time elapses.-d- = Label -d- is displayed during defrosting, until the end ofdefrosting and until the current temperature is equal or lower thanthe initial one, or until d6 time elapses.d6 = Display return limit.Maximum time before viewing the current temperature againafter defrosting.d7 = Compressor drip time.Time since defrosting ends until the compressor can beconnected.d8 = Interval between defrosting.Time between the start of a defrosting and the start of thefollowing one.If it is zero defrosting is not done automatically by time.d9 = Fan operation during defrosting time.It determines if the fan is connected or not during defrosting.d10 = Fan drip time.Time since defrosting ends until fan can be connected.d11 = Minimum Time duration defrostingOnce defrosting begins it stays at least during this timed12 = Fan & defrosting control probe.sd1 = ambient probe.sd2 = defrosting probesd3 = product probed14 = Units to count the defrosting cyle.rt = according to the time of working of the controller.ct = according to the time of working of the compressor.PROBESP0 = ºC or ºF, Temperature scaleP1 = Ambient probe calibrationDegrees shift of the ambient probe.P2 =Degrees shift of the defrosting probe.P3 = ProductDegrees shift of the product probe.P4 = Decimal pointP5=Probe to be viewed normally on the display.sd1 = ambient probe.sd2 = defrosting probe.sd3 = product probeP6 = Probe 2 Defrosting present. If there is a probe 2 connected to thermostatP7 = Probe 3 Product present. If there is a probe 3 connected to thermostat(DEF)(Pro)Defrosting probe calibrationprobe calibrationALARMS(ALA)INITIALIZATION (INI)A0 = Fan & alarm differential. This is the temperature difference between the on and off cycle ofthe alarms and fanA1 = Maximum alarm.High alarm ON at Set+A1.
