Alert Placement Important Safety InformationSubject to change without prior warningThe Alert device has a built-in WiFi signalstrength indicator. Press the button threetimes to locate the range of the router throughthe use of visual LED indicators and audiblesound. All LEDs and a fast beep indicate astrong signal. Limited LEDs and slow beepindicate a weak signal.When placing your Alert device consider radioobstructions. For optimum WiFi performanceyou may need to try positioning the unit invarious different locations/positions. Anyphysical obstructions between a router/accesspoint and an Alert will affect the signal range.WiFi extenders can also be used to gainimprovements. These can be purchased fromour online store www.TIPTEMP.com.To optimize the performance of yourEL-WiFi-Alert make sure you have the mostup-to-date Firmware installed.Battery ReplacementThe rechargeable battery in the product should only be replaced by anauthorized supplier.Repairing or ModifyingNever attempt to repair or modify products. Dismantling products, includingthe removal of external screws, may cause damage that is not covered underthe warranty. Servicing should only be provided by an authorized supplier. Ifthe product has been submerged in water, punctured, or seriously damageddo not use it before returning it to an authorized supplier.ChargingOnly use a USB Power Adaptor or a USB port on another device to chargeproducts. Read all safety instructions for any third party products andaccessories before use with this product. TIPTEMP is not responsible for theoperation of any third party accessories or their compliance with safety andregulatory standards. We do not recommend charging the battery whenthe unit is at 40˚C (104˚F) or above. Some of our products employ safetyfeatures to prevent this.Using Connectors and PortsNever force a connector into a port; check for obstruction in the port, makesure that the connector matches the port and that you have positioned theconnector correctly in relation to the port.
