After charging or before attempting any maintenanceor cleaning, unplug the charger from the powersource. Pull by plug rather than cord wheneverdisconnecting charger.10. Make sure cord is located so that it will not bestepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected todamage or stress.11. Do not operate charger with damaged cord or plug. Ifthe cord or plug is damaged, ask Makita authorizedservice center to replace it in order to avoid a hazard.12.
