Designedspecifically for video walls, it measures each display’s color and brightness andcalibrates them all to identical optimum settings. This capability helps create thelook of a seamless, mega-sized display and provides assurance of overall imageconsistency if one or more of the displays is replaced.• Automatic calibration - The software communicates with the displays directlyusing either RS-232 or a LAN (Ethernet) connection to automatically adjust theirsettings• Internal Test Patterns - These patterns simplify display calibration by allowingcalibration to be performed automatically without manually selecting different testpatterns during the process or connecting a PC to the video input of the displays• 10-bit internal lookup tables (LUTs) - Each supported display features threeinternal LUTs that allow very precise adjustments to be made to the toneresponse curve without reducing the number of displayable colors or introducingcolor banding artifacts• Gamma Correction - In addition to adjusting the intensity (luminance) and whitepoint of the displays, the software also calibrates the grayscale using theinternal LUTs. This results in highly accurate color not only at 100% white butat all steps along the grayscale. A variety of different tone response curves alsocan be applied—from small gamma values to complex custom curves.• Flexible Connections - Displays can be connected to the host PC using RS-232, LAN or combinations of both, or wirelessly by usinga wireless-equipped host PC and LAN• Projects - All display configurations, measurements and calibration data canbe saved as a project file for laterreference or re-calibration• Multiple Calibration Sets - Varyingcalibration projects can be uploaded toeach group of displays, allowingfor quick and easy switching betweencalibration settings without the need tore-calibrate each display• Informative - A summary windowshows the results of the calibration andmeasurement data, allowing fordetailed logging and reporting ofthe calibration procedure• Colorimeter function - The softwareallows direct measurements to betaken by the color sensor and theresults displayed in a variety ofdifferent formats.• Scalable - Single displays to a 10x10video wall are supportedSystem RequirementsWindows:Microsoft Windows XP or Vista (32 or 64 bit versions)Mac OS:Mac OS 10.4 or higherIntel or PowerPC ProcessorHardware:Supported model of NEC displaysSupported Color SensorAt least one available USB port for Color SensorStandard TCP/IP LAN interface (optional if usingRS232 or a Wireless LAN)One or more RS232 Ports (optional if using LAN)USB to RS232 adapter (optional if using LAN)Supported Color Sensors:GretagMacbeth Eye-One Display V1X-Rite/GretagMacbeth Eye-One Display V2X-Rite/GretagMacbeth Eye-One Monitor, Eye-One ProX-Rite ColorMunkiMonaco OptixXR (X-Rite DTP 94)ColorVision/Datacolor Spyder 2Datacolor Spyder 3Supported LCD Displays46” X462UN46” X461HB43” X431BT40” P401/P401-AVT46” P461/P461-AVT52” P521/P521-AVT55” P551/P551-AVT70” P701/P701-AVT40” S401/S401-AVT46” S461/S461-AVT52” S521/S521-AVT
