LI-973(A)PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONSSA130BATTERY INSTALLATIONThe timer is shipped with 2 CR2032 batteries. Please follow below procedures for batteryinstallation.1. Remove the timer from the wall socket.2. Using a small flat screwdriver, pry the battery holder open. The SA130 uses twoCR2032 batteries.3. Install two CR2032 batteries into the battery holder, making sure that the + and –polarities match up with the diagram printed on the unit.4. When the batteries are in place, press the battery holder back into its original position.5. Make sure toconnect your lamp to the proper outlet. Please note that the total rating (untimed andtimed outlet) of lamps/appliances connected to the timer must not exceed the SA130rating.SET THE CLOCK1. Press and hold the TIME button until the display is flashing.2. Press and hold the FWD button to rapidly advance the time forward, or the REV buttonto rapidly change the time backward. Release button when the correct time is displayed.PM Indicator is on the lower right corner of the display (there is no AM indicator).Note: While pressing either FWD or REV button the minutes will begin at a moderatepace, then get faster. This will assist you in setting the time quickly and accurately.3. Press the TIME button again or wait for 10 seconds to exit time setting mode.4. Slide the DST Switch, to “+1” to increase the current time 1 hour for daylight savingtime. The DST Indicator is on the upper right corner of the display.SET THE PROGRAMMED TIMESA130 HAS 2 INDEPENDENT PROGRAMMABLE SCHEDULES.1. Press MODE button until “PROGRAM 1” is displayed on the upper left corner of thedisplay.2. Press and hold the PROGRAM button until the display flashes.3. The display will change to show ON time for Program 1 and flash. The “ON” icon willappear. Use FWD button and REV button to adjust ON time.4. Press the PROGRAM button again or wait for 10 seconds, it will change to display OFFtime. The “OFF” icon will appear. Use FWD button and REV button to adjust the OFF time.5. Press the PROGRAM button once more or wait for 10 seconds to return to normalmode. Display will change back to show real time.6. To program 2nd schedule, just follow step 1-5 but press MODE Button until “PROGRAM2” is displayed.TIMER OPERATIONACTIVATING THE TIMERAfter programming the timer, you need to activate a schedule. Press MODE button until“PROGRAM 1”, “PROGRAM 2” or “PROGRAM 12” is displayed. Timer is in Automatic modeand will follow schedule selected (1, 2 or both.)NOTE: Make sure to test that the power switch on your lamp/appliance is in the ONposition before you plug it into the timed outlet.DEACTIVATING THE TIMERPress MODE button until OFF is showing. Timer is in Manual mode and schedules aredisabled.MANUAL OVERRIDETo override the ON or OFF settings, press ON/OFF button. To activate ON/OFF button,you can push on the hinged front cover. The override setting will change at the next timedevent.This product has passedETL testing. It is certifiedand complies with bothU.S. and Canadian productsafety standards.ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: If this productfails because of a manufacturing defect withinone year after purchase, we will, at our option,either repair or replace it at no charge.
