Noctua cannot be held responsible for anydamage or losses caused by compatibility issues.Multilingual versions of this manual are available on our website:www.noctua.at/manualsCaution: Choose the alignment of the mounting bars according tothe desired final orientation of the cooler:Orientation A Orientation BThen put the NM-IMB2 mounting-bars onto the bolts.Caution: Make sure that the curved sides of the mounting bars arepointing outwards.Fix the mounting bars using the NM-ITS1 thumbscrews.Caution: Gently tighten the screws until they stop, but don’t useexcessive force.Step 2:Applying thermal pasteIf there are residual traces of thermal paste or thermal pads onyour CPU, please clean them off first. Then press a small drop(4-5mm diameter) NT-H1 onto the centre of the heatspreader.Required mounting parts:4x NM-ITS1Thumbscrews4x NM-IBT2 Bolts2x NM-IMB2 Mounting-BarsInstalling the fanStep 4:Attach the fans to the heatsink using the steel clips. The NF-P12120mm fan can be moved upwards or left off in order to improvecompatibility.If you don’t run the NF-P12 on the CPU cooler, you can use thesupplied fan screws or silicone Vibration-Compensators to installit inside your case.Fastening the heatsink to the CPUCaution: If you’re using the cooler for the first time, please take offthe protection cover at the bottom side of the heatsink first!Put the heatsink onto the CPU and screw it to the screw threadsof the mounting bars.Caution: Tighten the screws until they stop.Caution: Due to the mass restrictions of the LGA2011 specifica-tions, we recommend taking off the heatsink when moving ortransporting your PC.
