Product OverviewThe Nokia Optical Network Terminal (ONT) G-010G-R is the answerfor home networking delivered by Gigabit Passive Optical Network(GPON). It is designed to connect individual users to the network forultra-broadband services with gigabit speed. The Nokia ONT G-010G-R provides a GPON interface to the subscriber and paves the way todeliver premium triple play services in a fiber to the home (FTTH)environment. The NokiaONT G-010G-R isdesigned to takeadvantage of the Nokiaaward-winningmanagement platforms,including the Nokia 5520Access ManagementSystem (AMS) platform.This residential bridgeONT is designed todeliver Ethernet services to the subscriber through FTTH on oneGigabit Ethernet (GigE) port, which has the ability to burst up to a fullgigabit dynamically. It is a temperature non-hardened bridge ONTsuitable for indoor deployments. Compliant with the standard ONTManagement Control Interface (OMCI) definition, the G-010G-R ONTcan be managed from a remote site using an AMS and can supportthe full range of fault, configuration, accounting, performance andsecurity (FCAPS) functions.A.
