619380Attention Consumer:Your refrigerator is intended for use in double side vent applications only and hasa ventilation fan mounted to the cooling system. This fan is not described in theOperator’s Guide that comes with the refrigerator. Please read theseinstructions to learn about the ventilation fan. Keep these instructions for futurereference.OperationIn order for the refrigerator to cool properly, a sufficient quantity of air must flowover the cooling system when the refrigerator is operated at high ambienttemperatures. Your refrigerator has a fan on the cooling unit to provide thenecessary amount of air flow. The fan is controlled by a thermostat, and beginsto operate when the area behind the refrigerator reaches about 95° F. The fanruns until the temperature lowers to about 80°.NOTE: The air flows in through the lower intake vent, through the refrigeratorcooling system, and out through the upper exhaust vent. This area mustbe clear and free of any obstructions.MaintenanceThe ventilation fan operates on 12 volts DC current.The ventilation fan operates independently from the refrigerator. If the areabehind the refrigerator is above 95° F., the fan will run even if the refrigerator isshut down. This can cause battery drain.
