DR400 Quick Start GuideTo purchase more patch electrodes contact your distributor or go to www.nemon.comSTEP DESCRIPTION STEPS/HINTS1 Fully charge theDR400 Use a power source (not the PC) to charge the DR400 Remove from power source when orange light stops blinking2 Enter Patient IDusing PCPatchUtility If you have not already done so, save and delete previouspatient’s data from the DR400 using the PCPatch utilitybefore entering new Patient ID3 Prepare patient Determine the best location to attach the patch and optionallead wire onto the patient, but do not attach at this time Prepare the patient’s skin. If the patient has hair in any of thepatch site, shave it with a safety razor. Use an alcohol padand rub the sites briskly until the skin reddens. Let the skin airdry before proceeding.4 Prepare DR400and attach topatient Attach 1-lead electrode patch (1CH) or 1-lead electrode patchw/ lead wire (3CH)to the DR400 recorder Remove backing from leads and attach firmly to patient5Start Recordingby holding theDR400 “EVENT”button downuntil green lightgoes out If you so choose, start the PCPatch utility before starting theDR400 to confirm start up and observe lead quality The DR400 will flash green for 30 seconds at the start of therecording At any time, press EVENT button again to transmit Bluetoothsignal to view ECG via PCPatch utility6 Stop Recordingand Upload datafor analysis Remove from patient and plug DR400 into the PC USB cableand the DR400 will stop recording after 2 minutes Start PCPatch utility to save DR400 data to HE/LX patientdirectory Open HE/LX Analysis to view and analyze patient dataThe PCPatch Utility Hook-up GuideDownload PCPatch at www.nemon.comand install on PC where analysis softwareis installed.Note: You do not need a Bluetooth USBAdapter to use the DR400. The adapter is onlyrequired to view ECG using the PCPatch utility.
