PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINESPlease read these instructions before you begin with theassembly and installation. The best way to assemble and to install is with the helpof an additional person. The metal parts and the supportplate are heavy and can be scratched easily if not installedwith the required caution. Also pay attention to the highrisk of injury for your feet caused by falling parts! Protectyourself with the appropriate footwear (hard-toed safetyshoes). The wall upon which you intend to mount the standshould be as flat as possible where the wall plate will beplaced and not inclined. Check this with a spirit levelbefore starting the installation. The load-bearing capacity is strongly dependent onthe quality of the wall and the correct choice of thefastening system! For installation on the most common constructionmaterials, five expansion sockets (Fischer® Duo power10 × 80) are included in the shipment. For panels and bigger cavities, we recommend the useof fastening systems specially adapted to your wall. You will find detailed information on the selection andinstallation of the anchors on the manufacturer pagehttps://www.fischer.co.uk/en-gb.The maximum net load of the STOIC wall mount isapproximately 100 kg when mounted on a concreteor solid brick wall.In case you are unsure regarding the condition of yourwalls or when choosing the right fastening system, pleasebe sure to consult an experienced craftsman or specialistdealer. If you’re not confident of your own technical skillslet the assembly be done by an experienced craftsman. The wall bracket made of stainless steel was cleanedbefore shipment to you. For this reason, the stainless steelwall bracket is only to be touched with gloves. Polishedstainless steel is tarnishing over time. If necessary, cleanthe frame with a stainless steel cleaner. A wall bracketmade of powder coated steel is best cleaned with a dampcloth and a little detergent.INSTALLATIONGUIDELINESASSEMBLY OF THE WALL BRACKETPlace the metal frame on a soft support on a table top sothat the rear part with the thread holes is directed to youover the edge of the table. The stickers with the arrow onthe frame and the wall plate must point upwards. Fastenthe wall plate to the metal frame with the four machinescrews supplied and tighten all four screws with thesupplied Allen® bit.INSTALLATIONDrill the holes as precisely as possible at the specifiedpositions as the holes in the wall plate allow little roomfor subsequent adjustment.A stencil is included for the easy determination of thepositions of the drill holes. Use a spirit level to align thestencil. You may fix the stencil to the wall with the steelnails and then drill the pilot holes through the stencil.Do not use the percussion drill setting for hollow or brickwalls! The holes should be at least an inch lower than thedowel is long. Important for a good hold of the dowels isthat you remove the drilling dust from the holes e.g. with avacuum cleaner. Insert the dowels into the drill holes andpush them into the holes with a small hammer until they areeven with the wall.Fasten the wall bracket with the five countersunk headscrews. Do not fully tighten the screws yet. First re-checkthe correct orientation of the wall bracket with the spiritlevel and adjust it if necessary by a light impulse with arubber hammer on the frame. Then tighten the screws asfar as possible and overwind the screws so that the dowelcan spread.Place the four steel spikes that are supplied, with the tipup into the frame and fix them only slightly with the M6nuts from below.Carefully place the support plate on the spikes. Beforeplacing a stone plate, protect the metal by placing softcloths over the frame.Make sure that the spikes slide into the spike receptacleson the underside of the support plate. If necessary, thespike positions must be corrected by loosening and shifting.WALL BRACKET |
