In Model TR-l the volume control is used for recording levelonly, while in the Model TR-IA the volume control is used during both recording and playbackoperation.These models are recording and pick-up units only and have to be connected to an ampli-fier and speaker system to reproduce the recorded material. Two track recordingis ernployedthus extending the playing time of a reel of recorded tape. Recordings may be made at speedsof 3 3/4 inches per second or ?
