Model: RT62Stereophonic Headphoneswith On-Ear Volume ControlUsing Your realtone HeadphonesThere are “L” and “R” markings on the headphones. Whenworn properly the headphone cable will be on your left sideand the volume control will be on your right side. The two earcups may be adjusted up or down for most comfortable fit.Connect the headphone plug to the headphone jack of yourmusic player. Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into thejack. If the plug is not fully inserted you may only hear soundfrom one side of the headphones.If you are using this headphone with an older stereo receiver that has a larger sizeheadphone jack, attach the supplied 6.3mm headphone plug adapter to the 3.5mmheadphone plug.To protect your hearing, always start listening with the headphone Volume Control setto a low level and gradually increase the volume to a comfortable listening level.Note: You may have to adjust the volume control on your music player as well as thebuilt-in Volume Control on your headphones to find the most satisfactory sound level. Ifone control is set too low and the other is set too high, the sound may be distorted. Trysetting the volume control on your music player halfway between the Min and Maxsettings, and then use the built-in Volume Control on your realtone headphones tomake final adjustments.IMPORTANT! Listening at high volume for long periods of time can result in long-termhearing damage. For your safety, do not use headphones if they would prevent youfrom hearing warning sounds, such as while driving a car or motorcycle, riding a bike,etc. Remember that on-the-ear style headphones such as the RT62 may block outsidenoise, including warning sounds.
