Press 2 to 9 to start entering a word. Press each key once for oneletter.The word you are entering appears on the display. It may change witheach keypress. Finish entering the word before editing or deleting anykeystrokes.• T9 example: To enter “Hello” in T9 mode, press 4, 3, 5, 5, and 6.• Hinglish example: To enter “namaste” in HG mode, press 6, 2, 6, 2,7, 8 and 3.2. When the word displays correctly, go to step 3. Otherwise, press 0 todisplay alternative word choices for the keys that you have pressed.3. Press to insert a space and enter the next word.ABC modePress the keys labelled with the letter you want once for the first letter,twice for the second letter, and so on.For example, press 2 three times to enter “C” and 5 two times to enter“K.”Number modePress the keys corresponding to the digits you want.Symbol modePress the number keys corresponding to the symbol you want and pressthe OK soft key. To clear the display, press andhold C.• To insert a space between characters, press .• To change case in T9 mode or ABC mode, press .• To enter punctuation marks in T9 mode or ABC mode, press 1.Using the Neopad Indian ModeTo type a character in the Neopad Hindi mode:1. Press a corresponding key to access the Virtual Keypad that contains acharacter you want. The character will appear in the Virtual Keypad atthe bottom of display.If you want to know which key is assigned to which Hindi characters troup,see the table of “List of the characters available in Hindi”.2. Press the corresponding key 1 to 5 to input a character, or press the *key to toggle a wirtual keypad page to Virama.Note: When you enter a character, you will see the predicted word in the wordprediction box at the bottom of the display.
