All rights reserved.Product description Connectors, buttons and LEDs descriptionThe KNX USB interface UIMtp provides a bi-directional connection tothe KNX TP bus system. PCs can be connected via USB. USB and bussystem are galvanically isolated. UIMtp is supplied by USB. No externalpower supply is necessary.With the possibility to address all bus devices, network configurationsbecome less time-consuming. For the devices connected to KNX, UIMtpprovides:CommissioningAddressingConfiguringVisualizationProtocolDiagnostic operationsUIMtp supports USB suspend mode. Communication protocol used forcommunication between interface and host is the flexible “cEMI”protocol. The connection between KNX and a PC with standard software(like ETS, EITT; also in Raw Frame operating mode) or other software ishandled by the Falcon driver. Extended Frames and long messages withup to 220 byte APDU length are supported.Requirements of Directives EMC, RoHS and LVD are met. Standards forresidential, commercial, and industrial environments are fulfilled.
