Remove the unit and other parts from the box; check against the packing list. Remove the hose frominside the dust bin as well as any protective paper packing material.2. Plug the removable power cord into the back of the unit. Try the unit by pushing the switch to the ONposition making sure the AutoPilot AUTO/MANUAL switch is in the MANUAL position.3. The vacuum hose supplied slips onto the vacuum connection near the front panel of the unit and theother end connects to the collection device desired. The ideal location for the StoneVac II is under thebench where the user works. The single station hose supplied is 2½” x 6 feet long and accordions tothe desired length. Hose extensions and adaptors are available from your dealer. We recommend,however, that you try to keep the total length of hose less than 6 feet between the StoneVac II and thedust collection point. Longer hose will reduce suction. Whenyou start your micromotor, the dust collector will start automatically. When you stop yourmicromotor, the dust collector will continue for a short period of time to allow for the residualdust to be cleared.1. Turn the unit on at the main power switch.
