Yealink W52/W56 DECT IP PhonesManual Reconfiguration ProcedureBroadSoft BroadCloud PBX 06/01/17WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE DESCRIBES HOW TO MANUALLY RECONFIGURE YEALINK W52/W56 DECT IP PHONES TO WORK ON THEBROADSOFT BROADCLOUD PBX NETWORK. ONCE THIS PROCEDURE HAS BEEN COMPLETED, ANY PRIOR CONFIGURATION SETTINGS ONTHE DEVICE WILL BE OVERWRITTEN, INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD, AND THE DEVICE WILL ONLY BE USABLE ON THEBROADSOFT BROADCLOUD PBX NETWORK. THE DEVICE MUST BE RETURNED TO THE YEALINK FACTORY DEFAULT CONFIGURATIONBEFORE IT CAN BE USED ON ANY NETWORK OTHER THAN BROADSOFT BROADCLOUD PBX.MINIMUM FIRMWARE REQUIREMENT IS 25.80.0.15 FOR THE BASE STATION. HANDSETS FIRMWARE MAY BE UPGRADED AFTER THECONFIGURATION DOWNLOAD.Factory Default Instructions with Base PIN:From the handset, performing a default will require the Base PIN. Navigate through the menu by pressing the handset’s OKkey and choosing the following menu selections:Settings -> System Settings -> Base ResetEnter the PIN, and the handset will confirm the base reset. (Note: This reset will maintain the handset registrations butdefault all other settings.)Factory Default Instructions without Base PIN:1. Remove the power from the base station. Long press the paging button and connect the power while maintaininglong press. The LEDs will light up in sequence from bottom to top.2. Release the paging button and power cycle the base. All handset registrations have now been lost.3. Register a handset to the base. A two-second long press on the base station, plus following phone prompts willregister the phone with the default Base PIN (0000).Configuring the Device1. From a factory default baseline on a Yealink W52/W56 device, determine the IP address through the menu with theOK button on a paired handset:OK -> Status -> Base2. Enter the IP address into your browser to be prompted for login.3. Log in to the device using the default (case-sensitive) username ("admin") and password ("admin"), and then clickConfirm.4. Under the Phone tab, click on Auto Provision.5. Enter the provisioning server address into the Server URL field.a. For North America, https://yealink.sipflash.comb. For Europe, http://yealink.broadcloud.euc. For Australia, http://yealink.broadcloud.com.auNote: The secure http applies to North America only.6. Click Confirm. For European markets, proceed to Step 8.7. Click Auto Provision Now. This will cause the device to request the files from the provisioning server and reboot. Theprovisioning is complete.
