It can be used in particularfor furnaces and thermal process plants. The device can be operated as a coupling relay for connection tosafe semiconductor outputs (e.g. output of a safety PLC). Due tothe integrated self-monitoring, no feedback loop is required forerror monitoring. The SR7D is specially designed and certified for the use onfurnaces and thermal process plants in continuous operationaccording to EN 50156-1 and EN 746-2.• 7 safety contacts• 4 auxiliary contacts (relay); 2 solid-state auxiliary outputs• Connection of sensors for e.g.:• - temperature- pressure- volume flow• Control: single or dual channel• Can be used as emergency stop relay with separatesafety circuit• Feedback loop for external contactors or extensionmodulesFunction The safety emergency stop relay SR7D is designed for thesafe isolation of safety circuits in accordance with EN60204-1 and thus performs the safety-related stop functionup to PL e / SIL 3 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 /IEC 61508. If the emergency stop circuit (e.g. safety dooror emergency stop button) is closed, the machine can beenabled via the SR7D. When the safety function is reques-ted via the emergency stop circuit (e.g. safety door open),the enable current paths of the SR7D are opened immedia-tely and thus safely switch off the machine. The redundantuse of forcibly guided relays ensures that a single faultwithin the device does not lead to the loss of the safetyfunction and that this is detected by cyclical self-monitoringthe next time the safety function is requested. The operating status of the device is signalled via theInstallation As per EN 60204-1, the device is intended for installation incontrol cabinets with a minimum degree of protection ofIP54. The following should be noted:• Mounting on 35 mm rail according to EN 60715 TH35• Ensure sufficient heat dissipation in the control cabinet• Maximum permissible total thermal according to loadcurvesNote: Spacer from ZANDER AACHEN (Art. No. 472596)for defined distances - See section Accessories.Fig. 2 Mounting / DemountingElectricalConnection• A safety transformer according to EN 61558-2-6 or apower supply unit with electrical isolation from the mainsmust be connected• Observe the instructions in the section “Tech. Data”• Use adequate protective circuit for inductive loads (e.g.free-wheeling diode)• If the device does not function after commissioning, itmust be returned to the manufacturer unopened. Open-ing the device will void the warranty• The auxiliary outputs 81-82, 91-92, 101-102, 101-112and O1, O2 may not be used as safety contactsFig. 3 Terminals• All relevant safety regulations and standards are to beobserved.• The overall concept of the control system in which thedevice is incorporated must be validated by the user.• Failure to observe the safety regulations can result indeath, serious injury and serious damage.• Note down the version of the product (see label “Ver.”)and check it prior to every commissioning of a new de-vice. If the version has changed, the overall concept ofthe control system in which the device is incorporatedmust be validated again by the user.• The year of manufacture can be found on the type labelon the device. It is located at the end of the line of thevoltage specification, below the ID number.• Installation and commissioning of the device must beperformed only by authorized personnel and who hasread and understood this operating instructions.• Observe the country-specific regulations when installingthe device.• The electrical connection of the device is only allowed tobe made with the device isolated.• The wiring of the device must comply with the instruc-tions in this operating instructions, otherwise there is arisk that the safety function will be lost.• The contact protection and the insulation of the supplycables must be designed for the highest voltage to thedevice.• It is not allowed to open the device, tamper with thedevice or bypass the safety devices.semiconductor monitoring outputs O1 and O2 (referencepotential: 0V terminal).O1: Device ready for operation, PWR (UB) applied.O2: Both relays K1 and K2 are switched on.Fig. 1 Block diagram SR7DA1: Power SupplyA2 : Power SupplyS11: DC 24 V control voltageS10: Control lineS12: Control lineS13: Control lineS14: Control lineS21: Control line StartO1;O2: Solid-state aux. outputs0V: Ref. potential O1/O281-82: Auxiliary contact91-92: Auxiliary contact101-102: Auxiliary contact101-112: Auxiliary contact13-14 ..73-74: Safety contacts 1 to 7English TranslationErrors and technical changes reserved |
