None of the cards in the receiver are “hot-swappable”.• ABC strongly recommends the use of a Phase Lock Loop (PLL)LNB for your new Starguide receiver. The Local Oscillator (LO)stability of your LNB should not exceed 100kHz.• If this receiver is designated to supply DC power to the LNB atyour dish, be sure to turn on the LNB VOLTAGE switch on theback of the receiver.• ABC urges stations to use an Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS) for the Starguide receiver for equipment protection frompower spikes or brownouts. Also consider lightning protectionif you are located in an area susceptible to frequent lightningstorms.
