Cleaning and Care6.1 Safety AdviceBefore beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been disconnectedfrom the power socket (pull the power plug!!!)DO not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the deviceTo protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, it cable and the plug inwater or any other liquids.Use soft cloth only and make sure you never use any kind of abrasive agent or pads, whichcould scratch the surfaceRegular liquid detergent and water are sufficient to remove marks of finger print, grease or dirt.In exceptional cases you may use commercial non-abrasive agents or commercial agents thatare used for the purification of glass.After the cleaning procedure you should use a soft dry cloth to wipe dry and polish the surface.6.2 CleaningSwitch of the device and disconnect the power plug from its socket.At first you should let the device cool downWipe the glass with a damp cloth or use a mild, non-abrasive soap solution.Wipe of the control panel with a soft cloth or with mild detergent.Do not use any petrol products, these cause damage to the plasticMake sure that the bottom of the cookware does not scrape across the glass surface, althoughthis does not impair the use of the device.Make sure the device has been cleaned and dried properly before further usage.6.3 Safety advice for maintenanceCheck the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the devicewith the cable damaged. If the mains cable shows defects let a qualified electrician exchangeit.When you encounter damage or failures contact your dealer.Only qualified experts may perform repair and maintenance work on the device using originalreplacement and accessory parts.
