Attach Wiring to the Base UnitLocate the power outlet location toward the right, rearside of the base unit.Plug in the cord from the print bed unit into the cart.Locate the power cord—stored within the storagedrawers of the 3DP Workbench—and attach to the cartunit.Plug the power cord into the power outlet.Important! Follow the initial actuator alignmentprocess PRIOR to powering the machine.6. Verify Emergency Stops—E-StopsVerify the E-Stops, on the front and rear of the machine.Make sure they are in the pulled-out position.5. Powering the MachinePower the machine after the alignment of the actuatorshas been confirmed with the Initial Actuator AlignmentProcess.a) Turn the switch, located on the power outlet on thebase unit to the on position.b) Press the green power button on the control unit.Note: To completely power-down and eliminate the draw of electricalcurrent, the power switch on the cart must be switched to the off position.Initial Actuator AlignmentPrior to powering up the machine, move the X axis to theend of the build area, as shown. Gently push both sidessimultaneously so the actuators move smoothly untilthey reach the end. This will eliminate any racking1 ormisalignment.Wiring Connections & Setup1. Locate the Control UnitThe control unit is stored within the storage drawers forinitial shipment. Unpack the unit and place it on the frontwork area of the base unit.2.
