Spacewire routerIn both Sirius OBC and Sirius TCM products, a smaller router is integrated onto their relativeSoCs. The routers all use path addressing (see [RD2]) and given the topology illustrated inFigure 6-1, the routing addressing can be easily calculated.Figure 6-1 Integrated router locationIn reference to the topology above, sending a package from the Sirius OBC to the SiriusTCMTM or vice versa, the routing address will be 1-3.In addition to this, each end node, Sirius OBC or Sirius TCM, has one or more logicaladdress(es) to help distinguish between different applications or services running on thesame node. The logical address complements the path address and must be included in aSpaceWire packet.Example: If a packet is to be sent from Sirius OBC to the Sirius TCMTM it needs to beprepended with 0x01 0x03 XX.0x01 routes the packet to port 1 of the Sirius OBC router.0x03 routes the packet to port 3 of the Sirius TCM router.XX is the logical address of the recipient application/service on the Sirius TCM.
