Select a tone that iscompatible with the tone probe(s) that will be used. The TriTone Transceiverretains the previous selection when the power is turned on. The frequency can beset from the Main screen or any tone operating screen.• Press the [FREQ] key• Use [F2] ▼and [F3] ▲ keys to select the desired frequency• Press [F1] SET.4.2 LEVEL SELECTIONThe TriTone Transceiver offers transmit tone levels at Normal, High, andMaximum. The lowest level that allows identification of the cable pairs shouldnormally be used. Higher tone levels may increase inductive coupling to adjacentpairs and make it more difficult to identify the correct pair.
