60 OI/266/HART-EN Rev. M | 2600T Series Pressure transmitters8 OperationFor additional information, refer to the operating instructionsincluded with the handheld terminal. If the transmitter has been configured in the factory accordingto customer specifications for the measuring point, all you haveto do is mount the transmitter as prescribed (to correctpotential zero shifts, refer to the section “Correcting the zeroshift”), and switch it on. The measuring point will now be readyfor use.If, however, you wish to make changes to the configuration, ahandheld terminal or - preferably - a graphical user interface(DTM) is required. This DTM tool renders the device fullyconfigurable. It supports both the HART protocol andPROFIBUS PA fieldbus protocol, and can be run on a PC orlaptop, or as part of an automation system. WhereFOUNDATION Fieldbus is concerned, the device description(DD), which can be loaded onto various configuration tools, isrequired for configuration purposes.Refer to the installation manual provided with the software forthe steps required to install the operating tool. The mostimportant parameters can be set via the path “Parametrize_Differential Pressure Measurement”.The program offers the option of configuring, polling, andtesting the transmitter. In addition, offline configuration can be performed by means ofan internal database. Each configuration step is subject to a plausibility check. Youcan call up context-sensitive help at any time by pressing the“F1” key. Immediately after you have received the transmitter orbefore you change the configuration, we recommend that yousave the existing configuration data to a separate data storagemedium, via the path “File_Save”.8.17 Configuration with the graphical user interface(DTM) - System requirements— Operating control program (e.g., ABB Asset Vision Basicversion 1.00.17 or higher)— DTM (Device Type Manager; graphical user interface)— Operating system (depending on the respective controlprogram)To operate the Asset Vision Basic please refer to the relevantoperating instruction.8.18 Standard and Advanced HART: functionality266 Pressure Transmitters can be codified with:— Advanced HART and 4 to 20 mA— Standard HART and 4 to 20 mA— HART and 4 to 20 mA Safety, certified to IEC 61508Advanced and Standard HART feature some differencies interms of functionality.Functionality 266 Advanced HART 266 Standard HARTConfiguration via HMI On board Not availableSIL certified On board Not availablePILD On board On boardTrend On board Not availableTotalizer On board On boardService Port On board Not availableElectronic replacement On board Not available8.19 Advanced HART software revision historyRevision Description ReleasedateFrom To7.1.11 First release 09/20097.1.11 7.1.12Bug Fixing:— microbar and millitor units added— HART command 35 bug fixed.
