540 Appendix A - ACS380 in crane applicationsSpeed matchingThe Speed matching function compares the crane speed reference continuously tothe actual motor speed to detect any differences. The function makes sure that themotor follows the speed reference when stopped, during acceleration or deceleration, and when running at the constant speed. The function also makes sure that the brakedoes not slip when the drive has stopped with the brake closed. The function has two deviation levels:• one for checking the speed deviation during a ramping state, that is, accelerationand deceleration (76.33)• one for checking the speed deviation during a constant speed (76.32).The drive trips on a fault (D105) if the drive is running, and• the motor is running in a steady state, and the difference between the motoractual speed (90.01) and the ramped and shaped speed reference (24.01) isgreater than the steady state deviation level for longer than a delay (76.34)or• the motor is accelerating or decelerating, and the difference between the motoractual speed (90.01) and the ramped and shaped speed reference (24.01) isgreater than the ramping state deviation level for longer than a delay (76.34).The drive generates a warning (D200) if the drive stops, and• the difference between the motor actual speed (90.01) and the speed reference isgreater than the steady state deviation level for longer than a delay (76.34)and• the brake control is active and the brake is closed.ACS380 FW.book Page 540 Friday, May 4, 2018 4:18 PMghv Vertriebs-GmbH | Am Schammacher Feld 47 | 85567 Grafing | Telefon + 49 80 92 81 89 0 | info@ghv.de | www.ghv.de
