Two persons are neededfor removal of the analyzer unit.Step Action1 Tightly seal the gas ports with plugs.2 If the original packaging is not available, wrap the gas analyzer inbubble foil or corrugated cardboard.Place the gas analyzer in an adequately sized box lined with cushion-ing material (foam or similar substance).3The cushioning material’s thickness should be adequate for thegas analyzer’s weight.Packing4 Mark the box as “Fragile Material”.Step ActionPlace the gas analyzer in a 0.2-mm thick polyethylene bag, add adrying agent (such as silica gel) and seal the bag air-tight.1Use an amount of drying agent appropriate for the packagevolume and the planned shipping schedule (at least 3 months).Additional Steps whenShipping Overseas2 Also wrap the box in a layer of protective waterproof wrapping.Ambient Temperature Ambient temperature during storage and transport: –25 to +65 °CWhen returning the analyzer unit to the service department, e.g. for repair, pleaseindicate which gases have been supplied to the analyzer unit.
