Ensure power to the panel is “OFF” and read all warningson the adjacent page before installation of the GFCIcommences.2. Move handle of breaker to “OFF” position.3. Connect the coiled white wire (pigtail) of the GFCI to anyterminal on the neutral bar in the panel.4. System Voltage – Both sides of the 120/240 Vac supplymust be present, otherwise the GFCI will trip.5. On 120/240 Vac load applications connect the WHITEinsulated neutral load wire of the circuit to be protectedto the GFCI’s terminal lug marked LOAD NEUTRAL. On 240Vac load applications where the neutral is not required,no connection is made to the GFCI’s terminal lug markedLOAD NEUTRAL.6. Connect the BLACK insulated load wire of the circuit to beprotected to the GFCI’s terminal lug marked “LOADPOWER”.7. Connect the RED insulated load wire of the circuit to beprotected to the remaining GFCI’s terminal lug. Check toassure the GFCI is still in “OFF” position and all wires areproperly connected.8. Install the wired GFCI into the panel.9. Restore power to the panel.10. Follow Test Procedures as indicated at the bottom ofnext section.Ground fault circuit interrupter wiring diagram, 2 PoleWARNING: Failure to follow these instructions couldresult in death, personal injury, or property damage.See Troubleshooting Guidelines on the second page ofthis instruction sheet. This equipment must be installedand serviced only by a qualified electrician.WARNING: Turn off power to main breaker beforebeginning installation. Failure to do so will risk electricalshock and possible death, personal injury, or propertydamage.WARNING: Do not reverse-feed or back-wire. Do notsubject circuit breaker to megger, high-voltage, orhigh-pot tests. Remove the circuit breaker beforehigh-pot testing the circuit or the system.CAUTION: The Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)must be supplied with power from the load center inorder for the push to test to function properly. If thepower is on and push to test fails to trip or the LED turnson or blinks (indicating the self-test feature has detectedan issue), the GFCI may not be able to detect leakagecurrent. The circuit breaker is defective and should bereplaced.NOTE: These instructions do not cover all details orvariations in equipment nor do they provide for everypossible contingency that may be met in connection withinstallation, operation, or maintenance. Should furtherinformation be desired or should particular problemsarise that are not covered sufficiently for the purchaser’spurposes, the matter should be referred to the ABBCompany. See contact information on next page.Test procedures (GFCI should betested regularly, at least once permonth.)1. With handle B in “ON” position, press “PUSH TO TEST” button A upor down.2. Handle B should move to “TRIP”position, indicating that GFCI hasopened the circuit.3. To restore power, move handle B to“OFF” and then “ON”.IMPORTANT: If handle B does not move to “TRIP” positionwhen “TEST” button is pressed, the GFCI’s protection isnot complete. Replace breaker immediately.PON panel neutral connection in PowerMark Pro onlyIMPORTANT: Q-Line Plug-on Neutral (PON) eMCBs do nothave a pigtail and can only be installed in PowerMark ProLoad Centers. The PON eMCB neutral stab will automaticallyconnect to the panel’s integrated neutral bar during normalproduct installation.
