M266_Set_Kurzübersicht_Brief Overview_V1.91_de_en (3) 25 / 3215.1.6 Changing the batteryThe housing must be opened in order to replace the mobile terminal battery. Please use a Torx 10screwdriver in order to remove the six screws on the reverse side of the housing (see Figure 10).Please carefully lift the lower part of the housing and place it to the left of the upper part of the housing (seeFigure 11). In doing so, please pay attention to the internal cables! Using a Torx 10 screwdriver, removethe battery fuse (see Figure 12). The long groove on the unlabelled side of thebattery is the top side. The opening of the groove faces the contacts. In doing so, please ensure that youinsert the battery in the direction of the contacts at a slight downward angle. Using a Torx 10 screwdriver,please fasten the battery fuse once again (see Figure 10). In order to do so, apply a torque of 0.5 Nm.Fig. 13: Detailed image of the battery fuse Fig. 14: Inserting the batteryThen close the two housing halves once again by using a Torx 10 screwdriver to fasten the six screwsbelonging to the lower part of the housing (see Figure 10). In order to do so, apply a torque of 0.5 Nm. Inorder to ensure that the mobile terminal remains tight, it must be ensured that the orange rubber surface andthe sealing lip are free from dirt. In doing so, please ensure that the internal cables are not crushed!NOTEThe housing must be opened in order to replace the mobileterminal battery. This may only be performed by trained servicestaff!
