8OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSOperation: This unit comes with five built-in colors, and is designed to operate as a stand alone unitthat does not require a controller of any kind. When the unit is connected to power, the Lamp willstrike, and the unit will begin its reset process. Once reset is complete, the lamp will turn on, and thecolor wheel will begin to rotate. In order to start or stop rotation, the user can press the “color wheelon/off” button located on the back of the unit. A UC IR optional remote is also available for purchaseto start and stop the color wheel from a distance. Please see the UC IR control section for operation.Focusing Lens: This unit can be manually focused by turning the main lens either clockwise orcounter-clockwise.INSTALLATIONThe unit should be mounted using a mounting clamp (not provided), affixing it to the mountingbracket that is provided with the unit. Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibrationand slipping during operation. Always ensure that the structure to which you are attaching the unit issecure and capable of supporrting 10 times the unit’s weight. Also always use a safety cable that canhold 12 times the weight of the unit when installing the fixture. The equipment must be installed by aprofessional, and it must be installed in a place where it is out of the reach of people’s grasp.
