Loopback Status (On, Off, or Notavailable) is presented for loopbacks to both thenetwork and the customer at both the HTU-C, HRE,and HTU-R. Figure 16 illustrates the LoopbackStatus Summary Screen.Loopback OptionsBy pressing a slot number followed by an S from theLoopback Status Summary Screen, you will bepresented with a slot-specific Loopback OptionsScreen (Figure 17). Multiple loopbacks can beinitiated for each circuit. This screen graphicallydepicts the loopback activated by showing throughreverse video, the path of the loopback and thelocations it loops to. Also, the status indicationchanges from inactive to active. The initiation of aloopback is accomplished by pressing thecorresponding number of the loopback desired,followed by an L.Figure 17.
