16Setting the minimum level1) Light the burner as already described.2) Turn the tap to the minimum flame position.3) Remove the control knobs.4) Use a thin straight screwdriver to turn the by-pass pin locatednext to the tap rod (see fig. A).If you are converting from naturalgas to LPG, turn the by-pass pin fully clockwise. The result should be a small, homogeneous flame which isuniform around the entire burner ring.5) Finally, check that the burner does not go out when the tap isturned quickly from the maximum to the minimum position. If the lead has to be replaced, only HO5RR-F or HO5RN-F type cables suitable forthe load and the operating temperature must be used.In addition, the yellow/greenearth wire must be about 2 cm longer than the live and neutral wires. In all cases, the power supply lead must be positioned so that it does not reach atemperature 50°C above the room temperature in any point. One example of an ideal route is shown in the illustration. The cable is guided bymeans of band clamps fixed to the side of the cabinet, in order to avoid any contactwith the appliance underneath the hob.Replacing the power supply leadAChanging the nozzles1) Remove the pan stands2) Remove the burner caps and flame caps from theburners.3) Use a size 7 socket wrench to unscrew and removethe nozzles, replacing them with those correspondingto the type of gas to be used (see table).4) Reassemble the parts, reversing the operationsdescribed above.5) Then replace the setting data plate (close to themains gas connection) with the one for the new typeof gas (it is in the bag of nozzles provided). If the pressure of the gas used is different from that specified (or variable), a suitablepiped gas pressure regulator complying with the standard must be installed on thesupply pipeline.Adapting to the different types of gas
