HOB - HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPSWARNING!Refer to "Safety information"chapter.COOKWARE FOR INDUCTIONCOOKING ZONESIn induction cooking, a powerfulelectromagnetic field almost in-stantly generates heat inside thecookware.Cookware material• Correct: cast iron, steel, enamelledsteel, stainless steel, a multi-layer bot-tom (marked as correct by the manufac-turer).• Incorrect: aluminium, copper, brass,glass, ceramic, porcelain.Cookware is correct for an inductionhob if:• Water boils very quickly on a zone setto the highest heat setting.• You can attach a magnet to the bottomof the cookware.The bottom of the cookwaremust be as thick and flat as possi-ble.Cookware dimensions: inductioncooking zones adapt to the di-mension of the bottom of thecookware automatically to somelimit.
