A dirty ceramic hobdecreases the heat transfer betweencooking zones and cookware.After use the cooking zones should bewiped with a damp cloth with washingup liquid. For severe soiling you canfollow these steps:1. Remove stains etc., with theceramic hob scraper.2. Make sure that the ceramic hobhas cooled down. Use a ceramiccleaning agent, such as vitroclen.3. Wipe the ceramic hob clean witha damp cloth or kitchen roll.Tough stains can be removed byrubbing the stain hard withkitchen roll.4. Wipe off remaining cleaningagent with a damp cloth.5. Wipe with a dry cloth, ifrequired.Make sure that the ceramic hob is drywhen you heat it up again. Ceramichobs can develop rainbow-like stripesif heated while damp.
