IHResidual-Heat indicatorWhen you switch off a zone, an "H" inthe display indicates that the zone isstill hot. The residual heat indicatorwill continue to be illuminated as longas the temperature exceeds 80˚C.Cooking zonesThe control knobs are continuouslyadjustable from 1 to 9 (9 is the highestsetting). There is AUTOMAX controlof all settings, enabling you to set thesetting required from the outset. Pleasesee the table of settings. The 14 and 18cm zones are suitable for boiling andpreparing small and medium-sizedportions. The 21 cm zone is suitablefor frying, and for boiling andpreparing large portions. The 12 cmzone is not suitable for boiling, but canbe used for melting, simmering and thepreparation of gravy, sauces etc. whichmust not curdle.
