Operating Instructions33Cleaning and CareHob1 Important: Cleaners must not come into contact with the hot glassceramic cooking surface! All cleaners must be removed with plenty ofclean water after cleaning because they can have a caustic effect whenthe rings are next heated!Do not use any aggressive cleaners such as, e.g. grill or oven sprays,coarse scourers or abrasive pan cleaners.3 Clean the glass ceramic cooking surface after each use, when it is stillhand-hot or is cold. By this means you will avoid soiling becomingburnt on.Remove scale and water marks, fat spots and metallic shimmering dis-coloration with a commercially available glass ceramic or stainless steelcleaner, e.g. with „Sidol-Edelstahlglanz“, „Stahl-Fix“, „WK-Top“ or „Cil-lit“.Light Soiling0 1. Wipe the glass ceramic surface with a damp cloth and a little washingup liquid.2. Then rub dry with a clean cloth. Remnants of cleaner must not be lefton the surface.3. Thoroughly clean the entire glass ceramic cooking surface once a weekwith a commercially available glass ceramic or stainless steel cleaner.4. Then wipe the glass ceramic surface with plenty of clean water and rubdry with a clean fluff-free cloth.Stubborn Soiling0 1. To remove food that has boiled over orstubborn splashes, use a glass scraper.2. Hold the glass scraper at an angle to theglass ceramic surface.3. Remove soiling by sliding the blade.3 You can obtain glass scrapers and glassceramic cleaner from specialist retailers.
