TROUBLESHOOTINGWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.8.1 What to do if...Problem Possible cause RemedyThere is no spark when youtry to activate the spark gen‐erator.The hob is not connected toan electrical supply or it isconnected incorrectly.Check if the hob is correctlyconnected to the electricalsupply.The fuse is blown. Make sure that the fuse isthe cause of the malfunction.If the fuse is blown againand again, contact a quali‐fied electrician.Burner cap and crown areplaced incorrectly.Place the burner cap andcrown correctly.The flame extinguishes im‐mediately after ignition.Thermocouple is not heatedup sufficiently.After lightning the flame,keep the knob pushed forequal or less than 10 sec‐onds.The flame ring is uneven. Burner crown is blocked withfood residues.Make sure that the injector isnot blocked and the burnercrown is clean.The control panel brightnessis reduced or it switches off.The temperature of the plateis high. To ensure long life‐time of the display the bright‐ness is reduced dependingon the temperature of thehob. Above a certain tem‐perature the control panelswitches off.Let the hob cool down.The control knob pilot lightsturn on after connecting thehob to the mains or after apower outage.Pilot light test. Refer to "Installation".Hob²Hood function does notwork.You covered the control pan‐el.Remove the object from thecontrol panel.You cannot activate or oper‐ate Hob²Hood and MinuteMinder.There is water or fat stainson the control panel.Clean the control panel.ENGLISH 21
